Still life photographer and tabletop director, Tyllie Barbosa, creates food and product images that capture the best of a brand’s personality. Whether creating for Kellogg’s, Kerrygold, McDonald’s, Google, Oscar Mayer, Quaker, Ziploc or Ulta Cosmetics, she’s been infusing client’s imagery with vitality and character since 2005.
Tyllie’s upbringing in Bahia, Brazil permeated her artistic sensibilities with a deep appreciation for food, music, family and sunshine. She radiates Brazilian warmth and hospitality, and it manifests in both her work style and aesthetic.
My philosophy is pretty simple—establish a creative, efficient working atmosphere and collaborate with exceptional craftspeople. Talent paired with enjoyment creates truly beautiful photography.

Studio
Tyllie’s 5,000 sf daylight studio is located in Chicago’s McKinley Park neighborhood. It’s equipped with a state-of-the-art fully-stocked prep kitchen, a client mezzanine, work station & lounge with review monitors, a private production office / green room, a 500 sf auxiliary space for insert shoots or additional staging, a prop room, and a hospitality kitchen & espresso bar. The street-level loading dock provides direct access to the shooting area(s). NanaWall doors open to a large patio / garden space for seasonal shooting or video village. There is abundant free street parking.
